History

The story of Dwarkadas Shamkumar began with a visionary — Dwarkadas Hastimalji Maheshwari, fondly known as Bhau. Born on 2nd October 1942, he stepped into the textile world at just 12, trading textbooks for fabric. With sharp business acumen, deep integrity, and a hands-on approach, Bhau pioneered direct sourcing and transparent dealings. What began as a single store in Pune has now grown into a trusted legacy with 60+ stores across Maharashtra — built on tradition, trust, and service.
